Likes

The infrastructure and buildings of VIT is pretty good to see and feel.
You will find quality crowd and you make good friends in life here.
You have an opportunity to do project from second year first semester. It's very helpful as you can gain so much knowledge because of this.

Dislikes

University is not big enough to accommodate 15,000 students.
We are not allowed to go out after 8 o'clock in evening and without permission you are not allowed to go outside of the campus.
VIT has dumbest security and super illogical rules everywhere. VIT concentrate more on academics, so it's a bit stressful in campus.

For my rank, I got CSE which is the most popular course during my time so I ended up taking this course. Even though the professors are highly qualified with PhD, but they are not at all good in teaching except some Indian faculty. VIT is very serious about academics. We often get exam every month but officially we have three exams per semester..

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is in VIT AP is a bit different from other colleges VIT follows categories in tuition fees. Based on your rank, you will get one among five categories that is starting from nearly 2, lakhs to 5 lakhs. There is no fee hike policy in VIT AP officially you don't get any scholarship or financial assistance in campus, but you may get stipend if you are good enough in studies.

Campus Life

Beatopia is our annual cultural fest and VTAPP is our international technical fest which will be held in December. It is as big as IIT Bombay technical fest but the cultural fest is same as every private college. We have a nice library and digital library and digital classrooms and one office for each department. You can play whatever sport you want in VIT ,we have even mountain climbing and squac squasch in campus. VIT has very active clubs and chapters which are done by students and faculty members.

Admission

I am from VIT EEE exam. It is a bit easier than JEE Mens. There are five categories. So if you have enough money, you will get for sure seat in VIT AP irrespective of your rank in exam but you must attend this exam to get into VITAP. You can find application form in VIT official website, mostly exam will be conducted in March or April. There are no reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
