Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in automation and luckily AIML was in the market. I am sure that the faculty-to-student ratio is decent but, not the quality of the faculty members. Some of the quality senior faculty have left the college in recent times as I've heard due to work pressure and are paid less. I'm not completely sure though, but due to this, they had to immediately appoint some faculty who aren't good enough for the job. Fresher faculty that is. To become a professor at ANITS one must have at least completed his/her MTECH, PhD is more likely to be preferred. Exams are mostly conducted as per the schedule and we don't face issues regarding that.
Placement Experience
According to my knowledge, students are eligible for placement from their 6th semester which is the 3rd year and 2nd semester. We usually get plenty of companies visiting our campus not just they're taking interviews for our college but also other colleges near us. We've got 1716 placements in the year 2022. The highest being 44 LPA and avg being 5 LPA. It's always said 100% placements but it's around just more than 50 in my view.. especially keeping in mind the decline in the no of placements this year throughout India for various reasons. I plan to join a startup and have some exposure after college and learn lots of stuff
Fees and Financial Aid
Anyone coming through the EAPCET exam will have to pay a fee structure and some who are eligible for scholarships such as JVD (JAGAN VIDHYA DIVENA), their fee paid by the government, but they still have to pay building fund which is 25k every year. Anyone who's paying the fee their paying 79300 + 25000. I'm not really sure bout the students paying through category B and the management quota. We don't have a fee hike over the year, I think Juniors might have a new fee structure but not us. I'm 2nd year btw.
Campus Life
ANITS infrastructure is quite good it fulfils the bare minimum needs. We've got good functioning applied chem labs, workshops and well-equipped computer labs. If I just had to talk bout our department, we don't yet have labs they're under construction sadly, poor management. Our canteen is good just the prices are a little too high..it's like the meal's price starts at 90 and only goes up and breakfast prices are okay. The library is good. Washrooms are okay some don't have mirrors. The library consists mostly of academic-related books you'll find any book you need and good journals too but you won't find any comics or novels. We've got teams for football, basketball and cricket who play with other colleges in tournaments. Any individual sport representing our college is also supported well. Extracurricular activities still need exposure there aren't many doing any extracurriculars like singing, dancing literature, arts etc. 2 websites for feedback and attendance are run by mech students
Admission
You can get into my college mostly through the EAPCET exam conducted by the government. A few percent of seats are left for diploma students who are going to enter in the 2nd year and some of them are category B and management quota. You are eligible if you've completed your 12 grade and no reservations are included separately from the exam as far as I am aware of. The admission process is available on the official website during the end of 12 grade (anits.edu.in). It would be more convenient when we pay the fees and immediately receive the payment receipt which is something the management delays. Were asked to submit a hard copy of our payment screenshot if paid through UPI then our receipt will be given.
