Likes

The campus has big ground where you can play all you want.
Had all the minimum and basic equipment needed for first year students.

Dislikes

Some teacher were there just to gain experience.
Registrar office has a lot, like a lot of attitude.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good based on the Aktu syllabus. Our syllabus was made a bit easier to complete as we were the batch who joined after COVID so our syllabus was made short. The first-year faculty members were good enough to help me score 9.23 sgpa.

Internships Opportunities

As I am a second-year student I don't know much about the internship with Stipend but we did have an internship from IBM on four fields of our current technology and computer science. They provided us with the badges and certificate after our internship was completed.

Placement Experience

I am still a second-year student so I don't know much about placement opportunities but from what I have heard the average placement of SRMCEM is around 4-5L though they boast that they have alumini with higher packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite expensive based on the conditions and facilities provided by the college. They are charging what private colleges with above-average facilities charge. I applied for a state scholarship.

Campus Life

The life at campus is good but could make it better based on what they charge us for the course. The college has strict rules for ragging, but you may get forced to stand when seniors visit your classes and wish them well.

Admission

I took admission from Aktu counselling based on Jee mains score. The admission process was easy after counseling results. You just have to visit the college along with the required documents, just go with process and you can start your college life in SRMCEM

Placement Experience:

3rd to 4th year students are eligible for campus placement . companies name microsoft,TCS,WIPRO,HCL,colagate, etc are of some and they give hich to high packages. shruti owmer get the package of 49 lakhs ,microsoft give this offer to her . about 20 percent students are getting jobs from here according to there capabilty. my plan is to get degree and work in japan as AI engineer.

Jaypee is good enough when compared to other private colleges.

Placement Experience:

If the CPGA is good and have good skills then campus placement is almost confirm, but in recent situation even campus placement has become hard. Mass hiring companies with 3.6lpa are becoming more prominent. 90% sitiing in placement are placed and average is 9 lpa for CSE but lower for other courses. If unplaced then I will apply off campus while studying for GATE.

Official Curriculum: Good What was actually taught: Just horrible We were taught pre-ANSI C in the first year We were taught outdated DOM APIs in WebDev classes that were deprecated and strongly recommended against We were taught Java 1.8 instead of modern Java and a lot of times the teachers insisted that the syntax I used was incorrect even when the code was compiling and running in front of their very own eyes with the same syntax in place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

IIITL placement stats r v.good that is the only reason i took this college. And also it is a growing college so in future hope it is also good in fests and cultural activities as well. Areas of improvement is the tecaher student interaction as the teachers and directors r not interested in what students do, so yaa that thing and also the fests they suck. Exams all good nothing to change.

JSSATE is just superb!!

Placement Experience:

At JSSATE, from second year trainings start and after that we have to give various mocks at the university. So, training is done proper and therefore placements automatically becomes easy for us. Around 70-75% students are placed through campus and in my words, placements are better than the rest.

My b.tech course fee is 57 k per year + university fee and if you opt for hostel it would cost for 55k per year it may increase year to year. But you get this college through Cuet or Uptac counselling process tution fees would be less.

Raw reality of Srmcem

I chose this college because my father suggested me although this college has good reputation in our parents eye but the child only knows the reality after getting into the college, i wanted to take admission in any of Noida college but there is some financial issues due to which i decided to take admission in lucknow only.
