Life of a mechanical engineer

The good thing about the college that everyone was helpful and always there for the students and taking about the bad thing that there were no college campus or campus drive for the final year student so that they all can placed well

I had given the exam Name PET for entrance in the engineering college and I got the marks around 20000 but I was not qualified to get the best college and also for the required engineering branch that i need

To be honest I did not know what to choose after the 12 th by taking maths in 11 th class so I then finally choose maths so that I can do engineering after the 12 th class but after that I was confuse which branch to choose so I have decide to ask my relatives , friends and my teachers, after taking suggestions from them I decided to take mechanical engineering as my future

No there were no internship given by our college during the period of 4 years that I have studies. But there were certain companies who were there in our trading period in between that was organised by our college to teach few technical things and that too was paid.

The placement and jobs opportunity in our college was very poor it was almost 10 percent of student who were placed from canpua drive from our college that was far too low and that too in the average company were student prefer leaving the job with very bad package given by them

There was a event celebrated by our college called LAQSHA which was clelebtated by our college every year. There was almost every kind of event there for technical and culture also. I the participation in that event was very high that every other college student can also participant in the events for various sports , technical games , and lots of Co curriculum activities.

The fee structure or expensive in our college was good when we were in 1st year The semester fees was around 25000 per semester but after we passed 1st year the semester fees was increased from 24000 to 33000 per semester and that was so expensive for the middle class people for which we would have to take loans for paying our fees in college

There was loan or I can say that scholarship for the minority student in our college in which they give some yearly money for the students for the benefit for them. But it feels discriminating for the people who are in general caste that they didn’t get the facility like that as the other minority caste are getting . I think that’s the reason our country is not developing.

Campus life was one the best time of the life as I can say that with my experience. The gender ration in our college was very good which I mean by that is 50-50 and there were no discrimination on gender and diversity. Our college have every facility that a student required for the betterment for himself/herself for the growth of individual knowledge

To be honest I was never into hostel life or mess life but I can share the experience that was shared to me by my friends in college is that the food in the college was very poor especially the required quality that they deserve after paying them good. The average rent that student gives for the room was very. High as compare to that facility they give to the student.

Talking about the seniors as I always wanted to interact with the senior of my college but actually in our college the timing of them and us were different so that we couldn’t interact and take help and suggestion from them. And taking about alumni they were always there for the students for any suggestions in the present and in the future

The exams was very hectic for the student because there were around 6 exams per semester and they only give an average of 1 day gap between the exam so as a student it was very difficult to give a good time to a particular exam and talking about labs it was more hectic because there was no gap in between and it’s one after the other

After completing the 12 th exam from school I gave the competitive exam called PET for the best college and the best engineering branch in our state for that I got didn’t get best result as I want so I than applied for the management quota in the college. After that I got selected for the admission in the college and I have to fill the required form give my the college department regarding a the details

The faculty in our college was very young and energetic and also experience ones as well which was a good combination. They always help and give time to student to learn anything for the betterment of the student. The faculty’s in our college were very experienced in studies they have almost done p.h.d under a particular subject
