Course Curriculum Overview

I chose civil engineering because my rank is only able to give me this course at IIT Patna. Girls boy ratio is very bad. All faculties are friendly with a brain full of knowledge. Always ready for help. Exams held midsem and endsem.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Students start getting internships in the third year. And they get placement till the 4th year. Many companies visited our campus like Google, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Highest package this year is 1.5cr

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is high but the college provides fee waiver for SC/ST and students with low family income. There are many scholarships you can get in college. Loans are also there on bank campuses with a very low-interest rate

Campus Life

There are many fests in our college. Anwesha is the largest cultural fest. Celesta is a technical fest. Infinito is a sports fest. The library is on campus and has many books in almost every course. You can issue them for 30 days for free. There are grounds for each sport. The gym is also there

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are double seated . One almirah, table and two table. Mess food is good. You can make menu according to majority of students choice. Hostel is inside the campus. When you came for registration in campus the you will be allotted hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

You have to qualify jee advanced with a decent rank. With 75 per cent in board exams. Then you have to apply for jossa counselling and then you get college with your rank. You can avail of reservation by showing your caste certificate and income certificate. You can get a tuition fee waiver.

Best at Low rank and low Fee

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
