Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of the high package expectations in the IT sector. GNIT has a good track record of placements in MNCs with high packages. All the faculties are PhD with teaching or industrial experience.

Internships Opportunities

Different IT companies organize their tests for internships of different durations like 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. All are permitted to apply for the internship and get the required skills needed for a bright future.

Placement Experience

From 2nd year students get the opportunity to find internships in reputed companies. From the 7th semester companies start coming to college for placement. Different companies have different procedures for placement. Most common procedure is a test, personal interview, group discussion, hr round Every student gets the opportunity to sit in the placement exams Those who qualify for the test and round get placed with a high-package. Rest got another opportunity to apply to other companies. College gives extra classes for placement practice with well-qualified industrial experts to teach for the interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I paid is 1 lakh per year when admitted in 2017 which is the lowest compared to other IPU colleges. They provide full assistance for scholarships as per university norms along with great benefits for economically weaker sections too. I got placement in Capgemini at 8.8 lpa package.

Campus Life

Colleges organize freshers, annual fest, festival celebrations, seminars, industrial visits, workshops, sports competitions, inter-college competitions, and many more which gives broad routes for development. The books are there in the college library.

Admission

I got admission through the Indraprastha University entrance exam. I opted for college through IPU counseling. All the details regarding the IPU entrance exam are published on the IPU website in the month of May.

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
