A personal perspective on VIT AP campus life, oppurtunities and beyond

This college is good for CSE. The faculty: student ratio is 1:70 nearly. Almost all the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and many of them are from IITs and NITs. Here they conduct exams every month and the difficulty level of the exam will depend on the faculty.

Typically, internships at educational institutions like VIT AP involve collaborations with various companies across different industries. Interns often get involved in project-based work, where they can contribute in real time.

Several renowned companies from various industries visit the campus for recruitment drives. The names of the companies visiting the college for placements can range from multinational corporations to startups. As for my personal plans after completing the degree, I aim to explore opportunities within the industry related to my field.

The tuition fee for this college is 70k and no fees for people who have JVD. The name of the scholarship is JVD which is applicable for AP students. For JVD there are a set of rules. One of the rules is -family income should be under 4L per year.

The annual fest named RIVIERA usually takes place in February, while the tech fest is called GRAVITAS typically in September. The library of VIT AP is well stocked with a wide array of books and journals, catering to the academic needs of students. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities. Sports activities are an integral part of campus life. A prominent social group on campus run by students is the student council.

Hostel facilities at VIT AP offer rooms equipped with basic amenities such as a bed, study table, chair, and cupboard. Regarding the meal quality in the hostel mess, it generally varies based on personal preferences.

There are two ways to get into VIT AP. One is the VITEEE exam the other is through EAPCET. I have no idea about VITEEE because I joined through EAPCET. The cutoff is 4500 for OC in the AU region and 7000 for OC in the SVU region. The Eapcet exam will be conducted in the month of May. The application fee is 540 for OC.
