Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that good, if we do comparison with top 7 iits.
Here we have to face the high competitive environment.
College doesn't not have swimming pool and hockey ground.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I have an interest in maths, therefore, I chose this course and I was also keeping in mind the average package of the branch. All teachers are highly qualified Ph.D. holders although they lack teaching skills, student-teacher ratio is around 1:10 .You get a semester exam in every 2-3 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides sufficient opportunity for an internship. Every year at the end of 2nd year, companies come to campus to provide internships to students. The stipend varies from company to company from 50k to 1.5 lakh usually.

Placement Experience

The placement of my college is one of the best in the country. IIT Patna gives competition to top 7 iits including iit bombay etc. The average package of cse branch last year was 33 lpa and the average package including every branch was about 20 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute provides a free tuition fee facility for those fellows whose family income is less than 1 LPA. The institute also gives some fee relaxation to those whose family income is less than 5 lpa. I didn't get any scholarship since I didn't satisfy the above criteria.

Campus Life

Campus life is very amazing. From time to time our gymkhana organises events to refresh students. We also have fests which include Cultura Fest Anwesha which happens in March and Tech Fest Celesta which happens in November.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good but each room is shared by 3 students in 1st year, each floor has a washing machine, refrigerator, and water cooler. Food quality is amazing and menu is decided by a committee of students, also a sufficient area for jogging, etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 37000 per year

Admission

I had to clear jee advance to get admission in the college. Cutoff varies depending on which branch you are going to pursue. For my branch, you should be under 5k rank if you are a general candidate. I got the benefit of reservation since I am obc candidate.

Best at Low rank and low Fee

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
