Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Journalism is a Wide course, and through this, I can learn many things which will help me not only in the Journalism field but also in my daily life, So I chose this course. Faculty members are 3 and the strength of the department is 12 students Our faculty members are very good at teaching they teach us in a very good method, One of them Has done his Ph.D. in this field and the other 2 are studying for his Ph.D. as well

Fees and Financial Aid

No doubt the fees at my university are high but there are 100 per cent scholarship options for SC caste. But the drawback is that some students make their fake SC caste certificate and study for free and we pay much for the same study.

Campus Life

3.5

Today, I Joined a DJ night party at my university that was superb and I enjoyed it too. There is a lot of stock of books and journals, we are glad to RIMT UNIVERSITY for giving us such a big library In sports no doubt there is biasedness among us(daily scholars)and hostel students, they always support hostelers and mostly Kashmiri students, But in extracurricular activities there is a lot of chance to do different things, RIMT Student Welfare Group and Media Club.

Admission

The admission process was too simple, Just I filled out a form and showed my 12th result for scholarship opportunities and that's it, I was admitted in RIMT UNIVERSITY, They also offered me a Cold drink and some snacks when I visited first to there University

Placement Experience:

LPU has a good campus placement policy in which the students become engrossed from the seventh semester. Many of the biggest IT organizations such as Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini and thousands of other offers are made during the visits. The maximum salary offered has been 3 crore [ctc] per annum and is averaging around 6-7 lakh per annum. It is notable that 90% of students get placements depending on the program that they take or choose to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course of journalism and mass communication because since from like childhood whenever I saw news anchors on tv I also thought that I would also be one of them and there way of speaking and handling all the things really motivated me to opt this course and when I entered in this course I got to know all the things about the world of journalism and media . How things actually works. Got to meet my idols of the industry. I feel this thing that choosing this course was my best decision of my life . Because this gave wings to my all the dreams . I think that the subjects are very much good and easy for everyone to study who want to pursue journalism. Teachers should gave some practical knowledge to the students. The timing of the exam is accurate and ok and the difficulty level is also not much like it is which any student can do who have some basic knowledge and information of journalism
