Course Curriculum Overview

The course is up to date with the latest technologies taught by the doctorate faculties. Class sizes are small which helps faculties to pay attention to every student. All teachings are done slowly and in a structured manner. The exams are on time and held semester-wise.

Internships Opportunities

Career Centre has connections with more than 500+ tech companies that provide internships to students in 3rd and 4th years. It is also mandatory for students to complete one internship in order to graduate.

Placement Experience

VIT has a great alumni connection and an outstanding career centre which provides placement and internship opportunities to all students. The average package is 10 LPA and the highest is said to be 60 LPA by 2 students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only 3 fees are collected. Tution which varies depending on your category of admission. Then there are hostel fees which vary on what type of hostel you choose. Lastly, mess fees again depending on which mess you choose. Scholarships are provided depending on the merit ranks.

Campus Life

The campus is green and beautiful. A lot of freedom is given to the students. The clubs and communities organize different events like DJ nights, movie nights, and workshops. Just like most good colleges, VIT has 2 fests, 1 technical VITAPP, and 1 cultural VITOPIA.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well-built and will maintained. The rooms are spacious and bright. The cleaners clean the room on a regular basis. And the toilet and bathroom are kept clean all the time. The mess is outstanding, food is good quality, and tastes almost like home.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

VIT has a common entrance exam VITEEE. It is an easy to medium-level exam. A few weeks after the exam, ranks are provided, and counseling starts which is online and convenient. VIT doesn't have a reservation or management quota. You must score 65% or above in PCM combined.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam. The eligibility to join is based on the rank released after the appearance of examination.
