VIT AP College Review

I have been interested in the course ECE for a long time. Faculty to student ratio is a bit low here but they manage well by arranging the perfect timetable. More than 90% of our faculties are PhD holders. Exams were at a moderate level.

Internship opportunities are available if the student is aspiring, he can get an internship in 3rd year as well. Students make projects to show companies their achievements, skills and knowledge.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit here like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte and many more. The highest package of last year was 67 Lacs to Microsoft. The average package is around 9L. 65-70% of students are placed. I plan to do Mtech.

Fees are divided into categories wise, 1,2,3,4,5. Fees are minimum in 1 category and highest in 5th category. Banks are affiliated with colleges to give you the loan. I am a first-year student so don't know much about jobs.

The annual fest is VITOPIA which is conducted in March month and the tech fest is VITAPP which I conducted in December month. The library is pretty big with centralized AC, books are available in ample amounts. Classrooms are good with projectors installed. Sports facility needs improvement although sports activities are conducted regularly. Many social groups and clubs are run by students.

Hostel facility is good, AC and non AC rooms are available, student can choose on their comfortablity. Mess is good. Registration process for hostel is done on the reporting day of the college where they ask for different forms and all.

Yes, I wrote the entrance exam called VITEEE, the eligibility criteria were 60% of the aggregate of physics, chemistry and mathematics in the 12th boards. Application forms and dates can be found on the VIT website. No reservations. The admission process is good.
