Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is relatively modern. It is on par with foreign universities. Faculty here are mostly doctorates and have studied in reputable institutions of the country. The course is rigorous and you need to study hard to keep up

Internships Opportunities

In our college, an Internship is compulsory in the 8th Semester in the fourth year. It contains around 10-12 credits. Some students even get internships in the summer from the second year onwards. Some internships are paid while others are unpaid.

Placement Experience

Placements at VIT AP are centralized. There are VIT VELLORE, VIT CHENNAI, and VIT BHOPAL, all participating in the campus placements. Average placement is good with an average of 700000 ctc applicable for most students

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a private university so the cost of studying here is relatively higher compared to other universities. However, if you are entering through EAMCET or VITE Cat 1, then I believe that the cost is manageable.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. There are plenty of clubs both technical and non-technical. There are plenty of fests and cultural events occurring all year long. Campus and clean and tidy. There is strict discipline maintained here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are relatively good. Food is average. Sometimes theg make good food and sometimes they dont. There are 4 male hostel and 2 female hostel blocks each housing 700-900 students and even faculty.

Admission

The admission process was relatively easy. It was fully online with little to no manual interference whatsoever. It was a swift process which was done within 1 week of the counselling date. Eligibility criteria for this university are 60% total percentage in 12th boards and in PCM/B

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
