Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this out of my passion and interest. I love agriculture and I want to study about farmers and about farming. For Masters only twenty students were selected. At present we are only seventeen. Nine boys and Eight girls. The faculty is filled with qualified teaching staff and the learning is very condusive. Tests and Exams were conducted thrice in a semester.
Internships Opportunities
ICSSR, ICAR - these are government funds which is availed by the students if they do any projects. There are also State Government Schemes which gives stipend for the studens while they study. I too applied for Chief Ministers Research Grant which is still in progress.
Placement Experience
The campus interview occurs in the last two semesters. Mostly the students get admitted while they study. Once they leave the campus they are ready with the Job. 98% of the studens get placement. And I have decided to pursue my Phd after my Masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Year fee is very nominal. And for all category the University provides scholarship. Most of the Fees can be paid by the scholarships. I am receiving the minority scholarhip. And there are internships available within the campus which the students can avail.
Campus Life
Its very friendly campus where the relationships can bloom and nourish. Lot of festivals and events were celebrated like Agri Fest in January, Farmers day, Sports day, Annual day, Cultural day, etc. The campus has one of the largest library in the Asia. The campus is filled with lot of sports and extra curricular activities.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth and easy. I followed every process from application to admission. Everything was done through online. The website was updated everytime and intimated to me through email and SMS. Even the problems faced during the admission process were handled very smoothly.
