Course Curriculum Overview

I applied for this course as I am interested in doing btech and one of my friends is also studying here and he referred me to this college. The curriculum of the course is not that easy. the course has 8 semesters and every semester there are 5 to 6 different subjects which are decided by Aktu University. The faculties of the college are not that good but are ok and can teach students easily and the students can easily interact with them.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is 1.5 lac per annum and the fees are not that high according to the facilities that the college provides and the college provides scholarship to the students who performs well in the Aktu exams. The scholarship can be different according to the university percentage. The college provides financial assistance to the students by providing them with campus jobs like lab assistants.

Campus Life

The campus life here is not that good but yeah you will not feel bad for joining this college as the academic facilities of the college are good. The college organises an annual fest to welcome new students in the month of September or October and the event is of 5 days so that the new students can get to know about the college. The college has a good library as well that provides the students the books that will help them score good percentages on the exams.

Admission

The college has no entrance exams to give admission to the students but the college will place a cut-off every year according to the 12th percentage and if the student has enough percentage according to the merit then he will be able to take admission here. The cut-off every year is mostly from 65 to 70 per cent. The college provides reservations to the minority.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
