Remarks

The college should appoint more qualified teachers and should invest on infrastructure such as put up fans in the class as in summers it gets difficult for one to sit for too long..

Entrance Preview

I had cleared the cut off list of the eligible course. I had chosen the course as I m a commerce student and was confirmed to do this course. For admission it will be better if you visit the college office after hsc result to know about admission procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course structure is good we can say as the teacher teach you in English and do not discriminate between anyone. There is a lot of punctuality and discipline. Sometime the teacher comes late to the class and some of them teach in a way that is not supportive at all.

Internships Opportunities

Getting a job just by a bachelor degree may seem difficult but after doing masters there are opportunities that one gets a job in a good company, not an MNC.

Placement Experience

1.5

As it is my first year so I have a very little knowledge about the packages that one gets after placement or which companies one usually gets placed.. As I have seen so far it is known that one can get a normal job in the city to work but for big opportunities one has to dig more..

College Events

3

To be true no event is celebrated in college. Festival such as Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with extreme enthusiasm rest nothing else is promoted. The college does support and inspired students to participate in extracurricular activities in the field of sport, dance, entertainment, etc and if deserved the students are also taken for national level events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as it is a deemed university. The fees is less of all courses as compared to private colleges and other big institutions. One can easily afford a quality education at reasonable fees. I had paid 4000rs for my first year of b.com which is equal to fees charged in colleges of Du and all

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers job opportunity to students who come for poor families to study .. The students are asked to do simple work like library attendant and so for which they get concession in the is fees.

Campus Life

1.5

The campus life is good as there is a lot of security and a friendly environment. Though the campus is small but has a basketball court, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket ground One can go anytime and play the sport. The library us too small but has all the books related to all the courses.

Hostel Facilities

1

The hostel facility I would say is average as the structure of the building and the rooms are not proper .. And the food provided is also not good its not healthy and liked by students and a lot of it is wasted every time. Most students have to go out to eat food.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the senior students are helpful they help you with studies and also with the city if you are new to it.

Exam Structure

The exam conduction is good as it is conducted under strict supervision but the timings we can say for the exam are not good as they generally keep the exam in the afternoon time which is worest thing in summers that to when there are no fans in the class

Admission

I had visited the college office for admission ... I was asked my percentage in 12 standard and a few academic questions and by answering them I got the admission. One has to get good marks in there 12th exam to get admission.. One doesn't need any source for admission..

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is good but can say the college has a shortage of teachers due to which one teacher has to look after all lot work. Some subjects have a teacher who is not too much qualified but still teaching the students. though some teachers are highly qualified and teach very well

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
