The campus life here is good and iike it very much.
I like that the hostel has electricity everytime as we the B.Tech students need it the most.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to become a software engineer. If I would like to say about the faculty-student ratio then it is like 1:20. The college accepts many admissions every year and many students come to the college to complete the course that they desire. The faculties of the college are qualified according to their fields. The semester exams are taken after every 5 to 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements that the VGI college offers are great and every student can sit in the placements from their Last 2 semesters. The students in B.Tech become eligible for placements from the 7th semester of their course. My plan after getting a degree is to opt for an M.Tech or do a private job in Noida or any other IT hub.

Fees and Financial Aid

My academic fees is 1.4 lac per annum and these fees are only for academics and not for the hostel. The hostel fee is 70000. The college has not yet any case of increasing the fees for the students. The college provides scholarships to the students who are in need of them and the scholarship is based on the university percentage.

Campus Life

I don't know about others but for me, I like the campus life here very much. The college's infrastructure is not that good but the academics are good as compared to the infrastructure The whole campus is wifi and the college has electricity 24x7. The college library has all the books needed for the academic session of every course.

Admission

The eligibility of pursuing B.Tech from this course is all over India. Since the college is affiliated with AKTU University and the same University is eligible everywhere you don't need to worry about the eligibility of the course. The application form can be found at the reception and you can go to the reception with the help of the students available there at the site. The college does not take any entrance tests to accept students in the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
