Raw opinion about our college

I like computer science so I have opted for CSE in all colleges according to my EAPCET rank, and finally, I got selected for this course in this college. I dont know the exact value of faculty: the student ratio in our college, but our college has around 250 teaching faculty and 100 non-teaching faculty. And the number of students of all years combined would be around 5000. The minimum qualification of all our faculty members is M.Tech and many are P.Hd holders. Coming to the quality of our faculty, some are so good at their subject and have good knowledge about their subject, teachers like these teach very well.1 semester of our college is around 5 months, so the semester-end exams will be held for every 5 months including 2 sets of mid-exams for every semester. That means we will write exams for every 2 months on average. The exams are not so difficult to pass, but also not so easy to pass.

The students are eligible for placements right from the 3rd year in our college, there are many companies coming to our college. The big tech companies include Amazon, TCS, WIPRO, etc. In these companies, companies like TCS and WIPRO take a bulk of students but offer a smaller package of 2.5-4 LPA. Big tech companies like Amazon take fewer students from 8-10 students but offer huge amounts. The highest package will be around 38-44 LPA. Totally 500-700 students every year out of 1200 students. The remaining are either not selected or have backlogs. I want to get a good placement in a company and join it.

We have a fee structure of 54500 for each student in the college who gets a free seat. For students who are eligible, the AP state government is providing a scheme called JVD, through which we get the complete 54500 in our bank accounts. Other than that, if students join the college through any other method, they have another fee which I dont correctly know, but it is around 2,50,000. Other than all these, each and every student must pay 24800 every year in the name of building funds and another fee. We dont have any dedicated scholarships in our college.

We have only 1 fest every year, which is actually a tech fest. That will be held every year in February/March. We have many books available in our college library. Also, we have a dedicated library for every branch, other than the central library. We have very less sports played in our college. There are many social groups like NCC, NSS etc. And also we have many clubs in our college. I am from CSE, so our branch clubs include the Achievers Club, IOT Club, Coders Club etc.

Eligibility of the course is to complete 10+2 or equivalent standards. And if we want a free seat in the college, then we should get a good rank in the EAPCET exam conducted for students. After we get a good rank, we get a free seat in our college. And the seats in our college are allowed according to our EAPCET rank and our reservation. So it has reservation-based benefits.
