What Students Say
Likes
- The faculty is easy to interact with and allows the overall environment to be easy to manage.
Dislikes
- The classrooms and washrooms can have some work done on them
- The faculty mostly is good but some of them are not good at their job of explaining.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it's eligible for most people, is a professional degree, makes you constantly learn and work for 4 years straight and is a complete degree in itself. This course is not at all easy and makes every student work hard for it. The faculty of the college itself is mixed, some are really good at explaining and teaching their respective subjects while some have a hard time doing so. Sometimes the teacher doesn't have the topic clear to themselves. So it's a ratio thing and the college should work on that. They are repetitive and make interesting things boring. We were constantly taking exams throughout the 1st and 2nd semester
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of course like B-tech are pretty decent for a middle-class family considering it's a professional degree. The fee structure can be little lenient for the reserved categories. The college provides various scholarship programs started by the government of the country and some of its own
Campus Life
There are various annual fests organised by the college itself including tech and cultural fests. These fests are quite informative and entertaining and make the campus life happen. Some of them are the Rangotsav, Dandiya night, Kolaahal etc. for cultural fest and for the tech fest, Hackathon was organised on many levels, the college, participation at the country level and many more There are constant seminars on various important topics like placement, selected field, career choice and options etc. The college has various libraries depending on the department you belong to. The classrooms are well fitted with working electrical connections, are clean and large enough in size.
Admission
The admission process was quite hectic. My admission is from counselling done by the college itself at the time of admission. My 10+2 board percentage and JEE score were required. I could only opt for my current course CSE if I had 85+ in the 12th percentile and 55+ in the JEE percentile. The application form and all other important documents to be completed were provided by the counselling team of the college themselves. I didn't get any reservation benefits. The admission process can be a little easier if they just tell us all the documents and other relevant and important things are required at the same time and do not make it a habit of making us make rounds of the registration office throughout the year.
