Course Curriculum Overview

4

After the 12th it's a good decision to opt for b.com and BJB comes in the top-ranking colleges in Odisha when comes to bachelorette courses. It's a 3-year course with 6 semesters each year 3 semesters are to be held having 4-5 subjects. Faculties are great. They're totally of about 270 students and 5-6 faculties subject-wise. All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced. Coming to exams there would be a 6-month gap between every semester and the difficulty is moderate and if you eligible to study in BJB you can easily crack them down.

Internships Opportunities

2

There are no internship opportunities from college but you can get internship opportunities from your friends and social groups. The internship opportunities that you get are like from NGO's and all and if you get a chance you should go for it.

Placement Experience

2.5

After 5th semester all the students are eligible for the placements companies like tech Mahindra, OPTCL, TCS and more come to recruit students. The highest goes to 4.5 lpa and the lowest is 2.5lpa but it's better to go for higher studies. Many students sat for the payment even me too but no one accepted the offer letters as we all wanted to opt for higher studies. The best option to go for after this course is doing MBA,CA OR MASTERS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees and cost to study is too low as it provides a great course within 3000-4000 per year. Including the admission fees. You can also avail to various scholarships like Prerna scholarship, post matric scholarship, Odisha Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana and many more through the college. The college faculties will also help you to apply for it.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure is great containing a huge library playground, basketball court, badminton court, park, canteen, and stationery store inside the campus. You can issue books and have self-study inside. college conducts various types of fest, sports events, cultural events and more where you can showcase your talent. There are no clubs in this college like other private colleges have.

Admission

The admission is based totally on merit basis e.g.- according to your 12th percentage cutoff is displayed. For the registration, you have to go to Sams.in website to apply for it where you will find various colleges and rank them according to your choices. The admission process is very good you can also apply for a college hostel through it. Reservation categories are also there people with sports quota and NCC quota can also apply for it.

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course bcom because I want to be a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). I think this is the best course I can opt for. All faculty members are good, calm and friendly so that students can communicate with them frankly but still we respect our faculty members ,teachers and head of our department. Moreover, faculty members are changing each semester wise. So till now everyone's teaching methods are well and good. Our semesters are conducted twice in a year and in between that internal exams are conducted for students practice. As from my point of view none of the exams could be difficult to pass, because if you study properly you will perform well in exams , if you didn't study then you will not perform well, as simple.
