Course Curriculum Overview

There was a sponsorship available from the MP Tourism board for diploma courses where we can make our career in the hospitality division of MP Tourism hotels. My batch size is 15 and we get theory and practical exposure. We also have other activities like guest lectures, industrial visits etc for our learning.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship assistance is provided by the college in top hotel brands like Taj, etc, Leela, Marriott etc. The stipend is provided during the internship on a monthly basis with core department exposure.

Placement Experience

There are good branded hotels, fast food retailers and other allied companies that recruit students during placement drives at college. The placement record is 100% and each student has a minimum of two job offers. I am looking for a career in the front office department of the hotel.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for a diploma course is 30000 for the entire course. There are scholarships available as per government norms. Some seats are sponsored by the MP Tourism board for diploma courses with some rules. After 1 year of learning at college, we need to do 6 months internship at the hotel which is assisted by the college.

Campus Life

The college is well equipped with amenities like computers, projectors, books and internet in classrooms and practical labs. There are many extracurricular activities organized from time to time. We have volleyball, and cricket equipment, for hostelers.

Admission

I got my admission done by directly applying to the college. The application form was available at the college itself. I came to know about the course through a newspaper ad. I was admitted in the month of July and the session started in 1st week of August.

Start with positive remark is that they are very good counselors too get mind of the students and there guardians they captured the mind and force them to take admission in there College but after you got admission, there real face will be revealed. Coming to negatives, they never give in return what they promised At the time of admission.

My NCHM CT jee score 972 so I could also applied for the IHM Pusa but I applied in the SIHM indore because it was closure to my hometown Jabalpur.I could have chosen Bhopal but my parents suggested me not to go for IHM bhopal because of the city environment.Also I applied for IHM GWALIOR,IHM RAIPUR,IHM BHOPAL ,SIHM INDORE .I got selected for SIHM indore in the first round of counselling so there is no question for Rejection. National Council for hotel Management and catering Technology. 21 Central Government Institute. 28 State Government Institute. 31 Private Institute. Eligibility- 12th Pass with 50% .English Mandatory. Application Form- On NCHMCT website. Open the form from January till March . Exam will be held in April or May. the eligibility of this is Based on 12th standard pass from any stream or from any education board.
