Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is best and in mechanical engineering, you will be able to create different things as the faculties in the mechanical workshop are the best. The mechanical workshop has all the machines required in the course in all semesters and the semester exams are taken in different colleges and are taken by Aktu University and they are tough.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements at this college are done in a proper procedure and the students can sit in placements from their last year. Most of the students get placed in the companies according to their skills and the students that do not get placed opt for higher studies or improve their skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the mechanical branch is around 140000 per annum and this fee is going to be the same in all four years therefore you do not need to be afraid of a fee hike. The college provides different scholarship opportunities for different students according to their skills and for the percentage that the students get in their university exams.

Campus Life

If I say in one line the campus life in Vgi is more than good and you can explore different things as well. Most of the students love the campus life here. The infrastructure of the college is not that good but is fine. The college has only limited sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

If you are interested in a hostel there are 2 types of room available one is 1 seater and the other is 3 seater and you can apply for the ac room in both modes also. The hostel fee is according to both of the modes 60000 for 3 seater and 850000 for 1 seater. The meals that the mess provides are good as well and the mess provides a variety of items.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I was admission to mechanical Btech in 2021 and at that time the coronavirus period was going on so I was not asked to take any entrance test but I think from next year students need to take entrance exams. The admission process is also very easy and you can get the application form from reception and the teacher can help you in admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
