Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love technology and want to learn about different programming languages. The faculty and student ratio is good as a lot of faculties are present in Vgi. The teachers are well qualified according to their respective subjects.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Right now I have not visited any company for placement. The highest package of my branch is 800000 per annum and the lowest package is 250000 per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy in our college and the cost of study is fixed as well. The college provides scholarships according to the percentage that they gained in their semesters. For different percentage different scholarship is given.

Campus Life

The annual fest is majorly celebrated in the month of September. The college library has well-stocked books and you can find any book according to your academics. Various co-curricular activities also take place in our college

Hostel Facilities

Each hostel room has one chair one bed and one locker for storing items for security. The meal is provided in a hygienic manner. The PG is just beside our college The mess has various food items that you can eat

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The admission in our college was direct at the time of my admission but from this year everyone has to take an entrance test. The college provides a good admission process and you can even get the help of other students.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
