Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering after the completion of 2years puc course. The faculty here is not that great for the best teaching experience. They are like the ones in other colleges. We can't expect a great studying experience like that in IIT or NITs Mostly mtech and PhD faculties are recruiting. And nowadays hour based faculty are being recruited for classwork.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies that are offering internships are emertxe, YBI, and so many companies offering in different fields for the students. The internship is not a big deal here one can easily find an internship here in college
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester onwards students can apply for different placements and internships Summer intern is a must needed as it has some credits The highest package got was around 12.5 LPA and the average was around 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The government of Andhra Pradesh will give the scholarships for students on the scheme of Vidyadeevana Although you may say it's completely free education you need to pay some bulk of the amount at the end of the campus time.
Campus Life
The present Ongole campus is not available. We are staying at an old campus of a private college in Ongole. The 6yr students are divided and placed at 3 different colleges right now I won't say this is a great infrastructure but when we get a new permanent campus then maybe the infrastructure will be good For sports so many courts are available but the PETs are not great knowledgable ones.
Admission
After the 10th class based on the cgpa obtained one can apply through Meeseva for RGUKT admissions. The students with the highest cgpa will be directly selected to campus. Around 4400 students for 4 campuses. Mostly government school students are given high priority to help and support to them for further studies.
