Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE because I wanted to pursue a career in IT. The faculty-student ratio is not that good. There is little staff to take care of the huge number of students present. However, the staff still manages to provide proper knowledge. The faculty is of qualified individuals but the teaching methods could be better. There are professors who teach with a laptop and give a digital presentation, but then there are those who do not have proper command over the field or subject. Global comes under PTU so the exams are not that difficult to ace. I completed my bachelor's with a distinction, but I have seen many students fail in the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are genuine. The infrastructure is good. You can get a scholarship in the first semester depending on the score of 12th standard. However, getting financial assistance, financial assistance, or campus jobs is a bit challenging as there are few opportunities to work. There are many students who got government scholarships and were able to study at Global.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest is Udaan which is concluded in August or September. Sometimes in October. The library is good with plenty of books on subjects and extra materials. The classrooms have ACs but that isn't much as a majority of them do not work properly and they fall short since the classrooms are big. There are projectors in each class but they aren't used much. Only timely. Water and washroom accessibility is good and these are present on each floor. Not really clean though. There are many sports and extracurricular activities on campus. Each department hosts departmental activities each week and there are football, basketball, cricket, and badminton leagues. There are no social groups clubs or websites run by students. Overall, the campus life is average. There is nothing exception but activities are fun and have their moments.
Admission
There was no entrance exam. They just looked at my scores of 10th and 10+2. You can ask for an application form on the website or visit the campus. You can get an admission between June and September. You may be allowed to join a month later if there are seats available. I did not avail of any reservation benefits, but of course, they are present. Yes, the admission process could be better for scoring talented and good students.
