Campus Life

The annual fest conducted in Ethiraj College is called the "Srishti" and it is considered to be one of the most anticipated events in Chennai. It is usually conducted in the month of March-April. Houses over 1 lakh 12 thousand books available in Ethiraj.

Hostel Facilities

It is a home away from home, a temple of learning and a family that has a long living tradition. The Hostel has 4 Blocks with 154 rooms and can accommodate 561 students. The hostel provides a mess and there is a dining hall with modern kitchen facilities

For admission to undergraduate courses, a candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations of Tamil Nadu or an Examination(like the CBSE)recognised by the university of madras as equivalent thereto.Admission will be passedon the +2 marks only.At the time of application candidates must provide a valid e-mail ID and mobile number scanned image of a photograph taken recently Applicants may apply by paying the application fees of Rs.100 through online mode only. Request for change/correction in the application form shall not be entertained under any circumstances after submitting the application form. Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
