Course Curriculum Overview

Most companies want a job is computers so I choose that course. 5:35 is the ratio of faculty to students for one class. Teaching methods are in their own way and the qualified teacher should have completed a master's degree.

6th sem students can apply for campus jobs. Tcs, CTS, wipro. The package depends on our performance basic package 13000.60% above can be eligible but in an interview, they take above 90% mark student selected.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year the fees 20000 6 months once want to pay 10000 + exam fees. The PM Modi 2023 scholarship. Campus interview is happening in college but those are in final-year students can apply for the job. Nice one

Campus Life

Global Game Jam is one fest for sports. Then college day cultural event happen in January every year. 1000 books are available in the Library. They gave importance to our sports so many sports they conducted and motivated.

Admission

60% above can be eligible for college. We can get the application directly from the college. Directly they gave the information about the date and fees first we pay for the application form its cost is 100. the process was very smooth

Life in HIMT

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management
