Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in engineering so I picked engineering I had an interest in electrical machines and transformers so I choose this stream. our department has at least a 10:1 ratio of students and faculty. The faculty are highly qualified and well experienced. approximately 5 months for the term exam. The marking and grading are quite difficult and checking is strict.

Class Size: 165Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees and study costs are quite moderate and all students can afford them. lots of scholarships are provided for eligible students. and the job opportunities are not o good but every year companies are having better offers for us.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest named EXUBERANCE, a tech fest named ROBOMANIA, we also conduct a sports fest named SHAURYA and ARENA. we had a library with the required books for us. classrooms are quite ventilated and have required instruments. we are allowed to participate in various universities and colleges. we have groups like Robostreaks, yodha, cadence, Imagica, shadows, c3, and entrepreneurship development cells.

Hostel Facilities

We have a nice well maintained and hygienic room and toilets. we have regular cleaning staff. A gym is provided to students for fitness. Food quality is good but the room availability according to students is too low. there is no room or PG as our college is little bit out from town about 2 km.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

Yes, I had appeared in JEE mains and got admission through it. And the admission process was too easy and appropriate. No change should be there in the admission process. I think the reservation provided educational support to many students and helped them financially also.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

If you have good career throughout your 10th to btech life then you have a chance to get a job.if not then it is very very difficult to get the job.many students get rejected for their low percentages in +2.I don't have records of all branch but in mechanical branch only 32 out of 124 got placed.the companies came for campus selection are ramtech (highest taken by it i.e 11) salary-1.7lakh per annum.Infosys (4selected 2.2 lakh per annum)L&T(1selecetd 2.7 lakh per anum)Wipro(7selected 1.9lakh per annum)otheres company came are low labels I even didn't remember their names.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
