Course Curriculum Overview

I am very very happy to choose this course. Our faculty members are extremely helpful and they have knowledge about the courses and activities. With the guidance of our respective faculty members, it is very easy to keep focus on studies and extracurricular activities.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that come and provide web development internships for branches like Teach book and internships, there are also physical internships for core branches like civil and electrical branches.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 6th semester students are eligible for sitting in placement. The companies that visit our college are IBM, apmosys, Wipro, and tcs, etc. 70 percent of students this Yr got placed and the highest package this year was 18 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees are very low, it is 30000 every year. It's approximately half as compared to other colleges. It's very affordable and cheap. As it's a government college. There is scope regarding the scholarship criteria. There are many different kinds of scholarship benefits regarding the schemes.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is exuberance and the tech fest's name is also exuberance. There are many different kinds of books in our library based on our subjects and courses offered to us. Also, construction work is going on for the central library. Many kinds of sports and extracurricular activities are performed and an Annual sports fest is also done once a year. Many kinds of clubs are there in our college based on different types.

Hostel Facilities

There are basic facilities available in the classes like a smart board and blackboard. The meal quality in the hostel is average. The registration process is simple it is done during admission. If want to live outside pgs are available.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized institution and should qualify for the particular entrance exam. From the official website of NTA. As I belong to the general category, I didn't get any reservation benefits but the backward classes category can get some reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
