Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a small interest in this line and in this college faculties of the electrical branch are highly educated and responsible. Their teaching style and the way he &she teaches us is very good. This college is gone under Biju Pattanaik University of Technology so the exam rules are followed by bput.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 38000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like tata power, Airtel, Wipro, etc. And the college doesn't give you an internship you have to do some internship in your college holidays. In the fourth year do Minor and major projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year, the college fee is 38000 only and in the 2nd yr it is reduced and you have to pay 30000 only and so on. There are many scholarships like pre-graduation scholarships by the Odisha government and labor card scholarships.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech fest are named Exuberance and there are many sports events like an intercollege event named Shaurya and an interbranch sports event named Arena. There is a Central library facility to study . There are many clubs like photography clubs, Dance clubs.

Admission

You have to give some entrance exams like Jee main,ojee, etc. You find the application form on Jee's main website or Ojee's website and also PMEC website.No improvement I want in this admission process. Reservation is done in ojee counseling.

Placement Experience:

Placement are descent enogh. After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement drive and become eligible for internships in 2nd year itself. Highest paid CTC was 39LPA and average package is around 10 LPA.

The curriculum of the course is very good and the faculty members are also friendly, the faculties are highly educated like masters in their qualification. the term exams are made every six months of the year. this course has the greatest opportunity to get a job in the core field.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

If you have good career throughout your 10th to btech life then you have a chance to get a job.if not then it is very very difficult to get the job.many students get rejected for their low percentages in +2.I don't have records of all branch but in mechanical branch only 32 out of 124 got placed.the companies came for campus selection are ramtech (highest taken by it i.e 11) salary-1.7lakh per annum.Infosys (4selected 2.2 lakh per annum)L&T(1selecetd 2.7 lakh per anum)Wipro(7selected 1.9lakh per annum)otheres company came are low labels I even didn't remember their names.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure. The admission process is through the jeemain exams and ojee exam after clearing these entrance exam and eligible for the cutoff rank u should go for online counseling which is held for approx one month and then if u get ur seat in online counseling in this college then should go for offline verification and the final process....Read More
