I liked the greenery of the campus is very nice. We can enjoy nature and have a peaceful time.
Faculties are helpfull and supportive for our studies.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food quality and maintenance quality must increase.
Not much developed area. The nearby markets should be developed.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for this branch as it is the most demanding branch nowadays and I was personally interested in it. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. They have completed their degrees from reputed colleges. The quality of teaching is good. There are two semesters per year and two class tests per semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From 6th semester students become eligible for internships and campus placements. Many reputed companies come to our college for placement. The package of our college is 400000 per annum. About 60% of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 30000. I got no scholarships. Currently, I am in my second year of B.Tech so I don't have exact information about internships but as per my knowledge, from 6th semester a student can do projects and apply for internships, and most of them get placed in good companies.

Campus Life

There are different clubs for different activities in the college like cadence, writera, kalakaar, robostreaks, etc. These clubs not only help to nurture talents but also helps to interact with the seniors easily. The libraries are big, with almost all collections of books.

Hostel Facilities

There are two girls hostel and three boys hostel. New admission are given rooms in a separate hostel to maintain ragging free environment. The hostel provides basic facilities. But the quality of mess food and the maintenance facilities are not so good. There are frequent power cuts too.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The admission is done through JEE mains or OJEE counseling. To get admission to the CSE department one needs a minimum 70% in the JEE mains entrance exam. Any candidate having the desired marks can apply for the college through the OJEE counseling process.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

If you have good career throughout your 10th to btech life then you have a chance to get a job.if not then it is very very difficult to get the job.many students get rejected for their low percentages in +2.I don't have records of all branch but in mechanical branch only 32 out of 124 got placed.the companies came for campus selection are ramtech (highest taken by it i.e 11) salary-1.7lakh per annum.Infosys (4selected 2.2 lakh per annum)L&T(1selecetd 2.7 lakh per anum)Wipro(7selected 1.9lakh per annum)otheres company came are low labels I even didn't remember their names.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
