Likes

The course fees is very affordable which makes it easy even for a student will poor financial background to get admission.
The sports facilities are good and one can many opportunity to improve himself or herself.
The exam pattern is easy to pass even with less studying.

Dislikes

The teachers don't have good teaching skills.
The conduction of any event is difficult.
The food quality of hostel is not very appealing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is overall with good subjects and a fine group of faculty members. The student: faculty ratio is generally 50:1 . The teachers have good qualifications and exams are easy to pass. It's just that not all teachers have good teaching skills.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides various internship opportunities within its premises and students belonging to a particular branch can do internships in their branch with the guidance of their teachers. But mostly one should prefer internships from outside the campus.

Placement Experience

The placements of this college are good with an average package of 6 lpa. Students are eligible for appearing in the campus placements from the 6th semester. The placement rate is generally 70%. I will opt for IT companies after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure includes tuition fees, hostel fees, practical fees, and others. The overall fees are less and anyone can afford to study here. Apart from fewer fees, the government also provides scholarships to students.

Campus Life

The campus is small but good with greenery all around and a large field to play different sports. The annual sports fest is Shaurya, the annual tech fest is robomania and the annual cultural fest is Exhuberance.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are good with spacious rooms and including 3 in 1 room for boys and 2 in 1 room for girls. The meal quality is not good and can be greatly improved and it costs 110 for each day meal which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

One can take admitted to this college through an entrance examination called JEE Mains or OJEE. The college has 9 disciplines in the B. Tech course. The cutoff rank is generally 6-7 lakh. To get Computer Science the rank should be 2.5 lakh or better.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
