Remarks

The college needs to improve on the side of standardization, They just create and dissolve rule so its waste practice.

Entrance Preview

I gave CMAT examination and score 86 percentile. Why I opted for BITM - Placements: The placements are good with brands but with a lower package. The companies which are coming with the high package are very few, so overall average salary goes up because of it. The kind of subject knowledge, ethics, making open-minded to all situations is commendable. Infrastructure: It has a very good infrastructure. I can give 4/5. You can play games over here as management institute it focuses only on that. You will get whatever you want to like playing facilities, gym, labs, parks etc. Good classrooms, auditorium, computers labs, Wi-Fi, faculty members etc., are available in the college. Faculty: It is .good for the basic knowledge, but more quality faculty and the updated curriculum is needed. I rate 3.5/5 for the faculty, but it differs how a person takes up. But as far as industry input as concerns students get maximum time to interact with industry experts regularly. The quality of the teaching is slowly decreasing. So with no updated syllabus for subjects, it can be a difficult step to move out. Other: The main motto of the culture here is you show up more by participating and improve in teams. There are 4-5 culture competitions here and a lot of refreshing events like DJ.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course structure goes with all the subjects required for running a business which includes marketing, operations, finance an HR The marketing research is a big part of the 2nd semester where you have to go on fields to gather details and do all the analysis and give a group presentation. With the reference to same the summer internship project is done. The project is presented alone and passing % is 50.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I got an internship at TVS & SONS, Chennai and the stipend was 10k/month. Many companies came from Google to coco-cola and all the students get an internship from the college itself. College tries to provide internship in those companies which provide a Pre placement offer which benefits the students to reduce the tension of placements. ICICI bank gave 25000 per month stipend. TERA gave 50 thousand stipend

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements of senior batch was almost 90%, and the current status is quite good. Average package of my seniors was 5.5 LPA, highest package was 14 LPA and the minimum package was 3.5 LPA. Many companies have visited our campus such as Amazon, Vedanta, Infosys, TCS, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank, etc. Roles offered were mainly sales for marketing but many companies offered BA, MR, etc.

College Events

2.5

Drishti is a cultural event in which all the four management institute of Sri Balaji Society, Pune compete for the ‘Rathininathammal Trophy’, annually. This event involves cultural, sports and management games/ other relevant competition, which are judged carefully. It gives an opportunities to every student to take part and showcase their talents. The winner of this event is awarded with a sum of Rs. 1,00,000 as the award money

Fee Structure And Facilities

For both the years fee is around 8 lakhs which includes hostel lodging for 1st year and morning breakfast for 1st year. They allows to pay in installments and the fee is totally not fesible. They charges way more than required due to there DJ parties and other cultural events. They celebrates all the calender festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, but college has few facilities through banks and few private agents. But students still prefer getting a loan from there known source. Moreover, there is an ICICI bank counter in the college which helps students to get away from these tensions.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is 1:1. All the students are from different different part of India. There are various clubs which are headed by student council which promotes all the activities such as sports, debate, GDs, PIs etc Such things are directly controlled centrally, but this is not up to the mark. These clubs are not mandatory and thus nobody comes to participate.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities is only for 1st years and on the basis of 3 sharing per room. The hostel is cleaned everyday and thus the hostel is hygenic and a place to live THe hostel premises has a basketball court and vollyball court and gym area. For 2nd year, studenst has to on there own. There are flats nearby which charges round 16000 for 2bhk which comes out to be 4000 each if 4 people lives.

Alumni/Alumna

SBS has a alumni base of more than 15000+ students and thus the alumni portal is very strong. Seniors are helpfull bt only those seniors who are in counciland rest are unknow to juniors as their is no interaction between them.

Exam Structure

There are two internal and one final exam per subject. Internal tests are the surprised test that means you will not be informed about the exam and you will get to know only 5 mins before so every time the students have to be prepared, this is a little bit hectic as the chances of occurrence of the exam is daily. So there is noday when students can feel relief from exams

Admission

First step - Fill the online form Second step - GD/PI at my choice of location\ Last step - Offer letter through Email The online form is available at BITM, Pune website. In Process day, I came to collage which started with a warm welcome and then dividing the student into group of 10. The students are then made responsible for their own team. Then the student has to go to give there GD which was take by The President of SBS, and the topic was Living relationship. The GD went good and then was the round of PI. Both the round are not elimination round. PI was held at directors room. Questions were from basic school concepts to my background. Finally I received the email of offer letter.

Faculty

3

My experience with the faculty members is great as all of them are supportive and motivating. They will never let you make feel like away from home. For important subjects, we have 2 faculty members. They use PPT presentation to teach students with help of projector installed in each class. Student to faculty ratio is 1:5. Industrial stalkers came to give knowledge and we have ample of presentations sessions with them.

ISBM is one of the best private B-Schools in India and also ranked 8th among the 20 West B Schools and 9th rank in Top Private Institutes. The institute is well-known and the program that I wanted to pursue was only one-year long here, all the good aspects such as impressive placements, rigorous curriculum, easily approachable and distinguished faculty members, student-driven campus, etc encouraged me to apply for this institute. For the application process, I had to pay an amount of INR 700 while submitting my application form through the official website of the college.

Overall college is good. I rate it average. Just one thing that faculty are very helpful but they don’t provide us any leave. Like if you’re not walk then also you’ve to attend class. You’re not allowed to go home even in Diwali. Otherwise, college is good and everything is fine here.
