Overall I would like to say that this is a good college to study for an engineering aspirant . students year get practical knowledge better than other colleges and overall development.

Entrance Preview

For taking admission in opju one should be passed in intermediate with at least 50% aggregate. And must have appeared for jee or cgpet.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses here are very technical based . Professor mainly focuses on practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge. Complete course is provided to the students. Course is a bit different from csvtu but is good and much reliable than csvtu. Teachers provude complete academic calendar on regular basis.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provide us internship to interested students. The companies that give training to students are JSPL(Jindal steel and power limited) and JSW(Jindal power limited)

Placement Experience

3

Placement at opju are quite good . Almost 75% eligible students get placed.Major companies that comes for recruitment are JSPL, JPL,Bhushan Steel. Currently I n 2017 batch almost 10 students got placed in Jspl ,20 students in Jpl and few students in bhushan steel.

College Events

4

There are many events in our college specifically technotollix. It is one of our major technical events in our college. And there are many events in our college which are done on regular basis. There are many cultural fests and sports events done on regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a bit high according to the hospitality provided. The fees is around 1.2 lacs per semester . The fees are distributed as tuition fees hostel fees sports face cultural fees and event fees. Tuition fees is satisfactorily but the hostel fees is a bit high . But the overall fees is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

If a student gets 85% aggregate in physics chemistry and maths then he is eligible for getting scholarship in his or her semester fees but at the same time he or she should get above 8 CGPA in the semester exams to avail inter scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is about 20:80 There are plenty of workshops done here. Students of all the religions study years. As this institution comes under private institution there is not much craze of politics and student union. The economic status of the students are quite good.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are quite good the rooms are appropriate in size and the quality of food is good. The warden takes care of all the students in good manner. There are 24 * 7 guards present in the hostel and there is a good Wi-Fi facility in the hostel premises. As well as it is very secure place for girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are quite helpful as far as academic is related. They help in many ways like giving notes and instruments which are used during workshop and practicals. They also help in getting knowledge of placements and current job recruitment.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not much complicated. There are two major exams namely mid term and end term. Mud term consists of 30% while end sem consists of 50 % while 20% fir PRE. There are a specific exams for practical papers and marks are accordingly. The entire day is almost busy and sometimes hectic.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.
