Remarks

Good administration but somewhat strict. They can even promote students more than now. Sometimes they are lament to our problems. They will take some time to resolve our problem especially regarding hostel.

Entrance Preview

The admission is merit based and no entrance examination.It is a government college and started in 1956 so I joined this college because of its reputation and year of experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good and we had electives only in the final year. Faculty are well qualified and most experienced. The curriculum used was based on Tamil nadu government guidance.

Internships Opportunities

I don't attend any internship. Many of my friends attended internship and they got many knowledge. But we don't get more help from college administration.

Placement Experience

Placement is fair. Around 10 to 30 companies visited and around 200 hundred students placed in the campus interview. Companies like Infosys,TCS,CTS and many company recruited our students.

College Events

We had many student headed body on our college.ROCA,LEO,TAMIL MANDRAM,ISC,and many. We had sports day and cultural every year. The student body meets every week and conduct events to promote students knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is around Rd.6000 for a year and exam fee of Rd.2500 a year. No other fee. The fee structure is very feasible. Since it is a government college no donation and other fee is not collected. So it is very economic.

Government scholarship is only available. Loan should take on your own cost from bank and college won't help in that.

Campus Life

Girls and boys are in equal strength. You can explore a lot on your own. No discrimination is allowed in college campus. College also arranges sports competition. There will be competition in university level. The student bodies in college arranges many competition for students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is average and food also average and some times bad. We have many for everyday which is decided by our students. The mess is separate for all four year students. Around 4 people share a room. You can select your own room mates

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini are the backbones of our college. We can contact them and they are ready to help us. They spend their time and money to promote students technical and soft skills. Many of our alumni visit our college for placement since they are CEOs.

Exam Structure

There is two semester in a year. Exam would be easy if you study. There was 6 paper and 3 lab. Since it is a Autonomous college question was taken by college staff.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
