Faculties teaching method is good and fashion shows they conduct
Study tour always conducted in every year
Environment is friendly and peaceful for studying

Dislikes

Too expensive for a student and the fashion products are too costly
Management system is too poor in our college and infrastructure is too small for students accommodation
No canteen is available in our college and no study materials are provided to students

I have chosen this course because I want to be a fashion designer and want to expand our family business Faculty 10:40 students ratio All faculties are fashion designers and have done Master's in designing They teach very properly and practically The teaching method is good Term exams are on time and not so difficult to pass the exam

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structures are a little bit expensive and students of unstable financial backgrounds cannot afford this so easily and the products we buy for our practicals are too expensive for students No, I don't get any scholarship or financial assistance but job facilities are there for students.

Annual fest names are Explodia and Infusio are conducted in December and September respectively Useful books are available in our library No sports or extracurricular activities are conducted No social groups or clubs are present

No entrance test was required for admission 12th marksheet was required for admission Application is available on the college website No reservation benefit was available because I belong to a general category No improvement is required everything is good

Ilead a way of life in campus

Likes

The campus is beautiful and promotes sustainability
The teachers are good, helpful and very friendly
Our classrooms were of glass in the roof, with lights coming through

Dislikes

The college has no good parking, the one there is available is very very far away
The food choices are limited inside the canteen of the college because it mostly consists of veg food

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, it's a great curriculum and it provides, internships in their 3rd year, so that we can get the real world experience with different projects. They also, makes us do designs projects based on the things we need to know and learn to work in a real life situation. Well we have total of 6 semester, each year consists of 2 semesters.

Honest review of a college student.

Likes

The main thing that I liked here was the variety of courses our college provides. Like generally we dont get so many different courses in one place.
The overall atmosphere of the college is good. The faculties are very friendly with the students and also the students maintain a basic discipline in campus.
Modern teaching facilites are provieded. The mac lab for design students and other things are there like conducting various workshops which are actually helpful.

Dislikes

First thing would be the campus. Its very small with almost no place to play. All of it is used up for parking.
The maintenance could have been better. Theres ac in rooms but hardly turned on. Washrooms can be made better.
They barely provides good internships or good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I study interior design and apart from nshm I barely know any college that provide this course. After joining this college I came across my faculties and they were very friendly with me and also the taught us in such a manner that the interest in this course even got better they provide various workshops and site visit that also help us a lot. The design subject itself is very interesting and also the faculties put bits of challenges that even makes us more indulged with the design. Not only we have interior projects we are also given with landscaping projects that has just to understand the exterior works. Also we have vastu and sustainable that helps us with our future works. The all over experience of this course is very nice. The exams are evenly placed in every month that helps us to study with a balanced pace.

Placement Experience:

Not still placed, I m a first-year student but the college has a good placement record. When I was taking admission I had conversed with many of the seniors and they are quite well placed and the only thing to note is, u might not get an initial high package but you will get exponential growth in your coming years.

Remarks:

We are provided with properly educated, talented and trained teachers for the betterment of students future. Our teachers not only focuses on teaching but also focuses on developing proper physical and mental skills of students. Not only books and classrooms, but the labs and fieldwork training are also provided along with a parent-teacher-student meet for every 2 months

It is one of the best design college in India

Remarks:

Its really good. It's not a big campus like IIT, IIM but its unique. Structure of the campus is very unique. We have all the facilities for the design students. I love the campus. No negative remarks for Nift Kolkata.

Our college hhas almost every thing. The student- teacher relationship is all good here. But there is a little bit problem of smart infrastructure. For better Upliftment all we need is more Smart rooms with smart technologies. So our administration should discuss about it and fix it.

Remarks:

Amity University kolkata is all on all a good college but totally depends on the need of the students. What a student actually want from the college and so you need to behave the same.The college is a Hi-tech college with good infrastructure and facilities.

The admission process in the college is simple. The candidates will have to apply online where the students will have to fill the form and submit. Upon selection the students will be called for an aptitude test and communication skills.

Entrance Preview:

NIFT have their own entrance examination, basically first test consist of two parts, i.e., CAT(creative ability test) and GAT (general ability test). i do not exactly remember how much i scored. I opted for kolkata centre since, it was close to my home and moreover the faculty here are really good.

There is no entrance exam you just have to go there discuss the fees structure and they are gonna provide everything like admission form details and every important papers. As it's a private sector there is no reservation benefits. And yes I think there should be admission available for the students based on their 12th and 10th percentage...Read More

Inifd saltlake is the only A++ Center in India among all its other branches. Its connected with London trends school and we have well known mentors for us such as Manish Malhotra and Twinkle Khanna. It is an international institute which gives you the best education in fashion designing and interior designing all over the world.
