Course Curriculum Overview
A Mechanical stream I want because I had an interest in maths and had good command over it. I also like machine functioning so this was the major reason for joining B.Tech in the Mechanical field. The faculties were average and there was a proper sessional test to give the best idea of the exam.
Placement Experience
We are eligible for placements for 7 semesters. There were many companies who visited for placement but most of them are non-tech which makes placements a little difficult in the core. But overall around 25% were placed in different tech and non-tech companies. I got placed with the college only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were fixed for 4 years by us during admission only but there is a little bit hike in fees per year from the central university and various other charges for projects and seminars are also added in 3 and 4 years. There was a government scholarship that was provided to mostly all counseling admitted students. The placement quality was average and I got placed in a non-tech company with a package of 2.4 lakh/annum ctc.
Campus Life
There were 2 fests and sports competitions every year. We also participated in various inter-college competitions. There was a proper library which had every book which we required. There are good classrooms and practical labs.
Admission
I directly took admission to the college with the referral of my relative who was already a student of the college. As the admission required minimum 60% in PCM subject in class 12. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits.
