I love my college

SFS college in located in Seminary hills area where there are many trees and hence we all experience cool environment around us. There are latest computers available in lab and our college have big library where there are many many books available for us. Hence I love my college and my college life.

I didn't give any entrance exam for admission. I got 80% marks in 12th science stream and I directly got admission to SFS college.Yes, i needed to go through interview process in which they tested my skills.

The course I have chosen is good one at it not only focuses on theory work but it also focus on our practical learning. It has good scope in the future. No research initiatives are taken by the institute. Other streams available in SFS college are B.A, B.Com etc.

No, SFS college does not provide any internship but we students have requested our college supervisor and teachers to provide an internship program for students of SFS college. They are soon going to provide this opportunity in following years.

Placement scenario is best in SFS college .About 75 to 80% students got placed every year.Major companies like Vipro, Infosis, Airtel, Tata and many other automobile companies visits our college every year. Average packages are between 5 to 6 lakh rupees.

Major competitions like quiz ,drama, singing, dancing, debate and sports tournaments like Cricket, hockey, Chess, basketball, football are arranged on college, intercollegiate and state level.Every year nearly 700 people visits to our college during these competitions.Teachers and students actively take their efforts to make these programs successful. College authorities efforts are quite appreciable.

SFS college offers fees which is affordable and cheap. Students need to pay ₹4500 per year which includes parking fees laboratory fees college exams fees etc. Besides this, we need to pay ₹366 as university exam fees per semester.

Yes, SFS college provides scholarships for backward class students and meritorious students every year. Yes, i avail OBC scholarships. No, college does not help in getting loans.

Extracurricular activities like reading competitions, dance, debate, quiz, acting, drama, singing competition are held. I actively participate in these activities specifically in drama because I like acting. In this way I got ample opportunities to explore my inner talents. There is very big auditorium available in SFS college for these indoor activities and playgrounds are available for outdoor sports like cricket, football etc.

No, i don't reside in hostel because . But My friends who stay in hostel told me that the facilities in hostel are excellent. Students need to pay 42000 per year as hostel fees. Food provided to students is healthy and nutritious.

Alumni visits our college twice a year. Our college arranges special seminars by these alumni. Alumni share their college life experience and teach us very valuable lessons of life. They share their old memories of college and feel proud to be a part of SFS college.In this way alumni contribute in the overall development of college as well as the students.

No, i love exams because exams are there to make us perfect and ready for the future challenges. I absolutely love the practicals in my lab. i enjoy it. Hence according to me, it's a chill culture.

Faculty staff in SFS college is very experienced. Almost all teachers have done M.Sc and some are even persuaded P.hd. Every teacher has teaching experience of about 7 to 8 years. They are very much interactive. They have very friendly relation with students. Every teacher teaches every topic in detail hence we don't need to prefer extra study material.
