Remarks

Saint Francis De Sales College is a science college there are various fields of different courses like BSc in various streams, BA, BCA etc. The addmission is based on the 10th and 12th percentages. The minimum mark required for addmission is 60% in class 12. If any student had taken one or more years of a drop then the percentage varies for addmission. If the date of addmission is over then also if the student is capable and intelligent he/she will get addmission if the percentage is good. Students have to submit their documents to the college office which are required some original and some hard copies during addmission with the addmission form of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose BSc Biotechnology because there is good scope in this field. The faculty of the biotechnology department is very punctual and disciplined. All the faculty had done their MSc and some had done their PhD also. The teaching method is also good they teach very nicely and it gets understood. Exams are easy to pass if students do prepare well.

Placement Experience

3

After the 5th semester, the students are eligible for placements. TCS and Wipro and many more companies visits. The average package is around 17000-18000. About 20% of students get placed. After getting a degree I will do MSc in the same field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every course has different fees. My course is having something around 17440. Some courses have 3000. As our college is semi-government some courses are very affordable. Maha Dbt scholarship is also available in our college. If any student is applicable for that they can fill the form every year.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is celebrated in the month of Feb every year. Our college library has a very vast variety of books and seats are about 200 for students. Every year sports are conducted every sports athletic sports are also conducted. NSS is a club in which various activities are held like plantation visits to various places, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In the hostel, each room has 3 beds with 3 different almari and 2 study tables. 3 Girls stays in one room. Food quality is good. And there is one study hall and one prayer hall one dining room. For admission, we have to tell about our college as their girls of different colleges can live and about our hometown and many more details. Then the owner of the hostel gives the addmission form students have to fill it and they show us the hostel and the rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

“The BSc CS curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers core subjects like programming, DBMS, OS, networking and practical labs. It stays relevant for basic IT careers, though updates are slow. Overall it gives a strong foundation but needs more modern industry-oriented topics.”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.
