I really like the college infrastructure and the faculty members
I really liked the college rules as they are not so strict. Bit there are some restrictions too.
The college campus is very spacious. And i really liked the college infrastructure soo much

Things i dislike is that students must use the elevators

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course, because I was very much interested in studying nutrition, and I wanted to become a dietitian. There are a lot of faculty members to teach us. All of our faculty members are phd degree holders. And their teaching methods are very good and understandable. In a year, we will have 2-semester exams, likewise for 3 years, we will have around 6 semesters. Passing the semester exam will be easy

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For every course, the fee structure will vary. For Bsc Nutrition and Dietetics, the fee for 1 year is 13000. Students can avail scholarships like bc scholarships, mbc scholarships etc. and then we have to pay the semester fees. It will be around 1800 and for the even semester it will be around 2800

Campus Life

There are many events that will be held like cultural, departmental cultural, karizma, annual day, RI annual day that is religious information, annual day, and sports day. And there are many clubs like literary and library clubs, enviro clubs, Nutri clubs etc. Our college library has lots of different varieties and of genres books. our college has many extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, gyms, sports areas, and swimming areas. We college students have Instagram pages. our classrooms are very spacious and ventilated with good benches.

Admission

I have taken Bsc Nutrition and Dietetics. It comes under the Home Science department. I found the admission form on their official website. You can type jabs official website in Google, the application fee was around 350.

I interested in science and my senior who was a botany graduate in my college said that the lab is superb that's why I chose microbiology.but the lab doesn't have enough requirements which greatly become a barrier for us to get practical knowledge

The pros and cons of avinuty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Actually the college provides placement for the students and especially to the lower background students at the max. The college collaoborate with the govt. dept. to create placement drives in the college. The salary is not that much attractive still its okay only.

Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

From semester 5 the students will be eligible for the placements .there is no particular placement classes for the students.Students have to separately prepare for it by their own.By naan mudhalvan scheme many companies have visited our college but most of them are the start up companies and average package will be 2 LPA And 3LPA will be the highest package.Many students got placed from many departments like40%.

Quite impressive

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.
