Experience of my college life

Everything was good no bad remarks except for placement.

There was an entrance exam named CET. I got 7 rank so i landed up in this college as it was one of the best law colleges in Punjab. No interview only entrance test. I belong to a family of lawyers. So law is in my blood.

The course was perfect one for me.i was full focused on learning as i know that after finishing college i have to practice law. Research initiatives were taken in the form of sending students to high courts and district courts after every little interval so as to figure out what is happening inside courts and then to prepare a case file.

Yes college provided internship under senior lawyers in high courts and district courts. Experience was superb. We got 3000 for an internship of 1 month per year.

Placement scenario was poor. Students cannot get placed in law. Firms did not come to our college.

There were big annual events planned up in our college every year. Even cricket , basketball , football and kho kho matches were conducted every semester so that youth should be active.

It was and 70-80 thousand per year for 5 years. First semester and 40-50 thousand and second for 30 thousand around and as on the following years.

All sports were there and youth actively participated in all sports. Our dean was superb.

No . Even hostel inside college was for girls. So I don't know about rooms. But friends resided in hostels told they were four girls in one room with their separate beds in sharing. But the canteen food was aw sum.

Yes every time we interacted with our alumni. Students were made to meet the alumni of different colleges every year of same stream. So as to know what they are learning and also can learn from each other.

It was a chill culture but yes at the time of exams we have to give our 100% as the checking was real strict

The teachers were fully qualified and experienced. The most important thing they were cooperating. The standard of teaching was really high and good.
