Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

everything is really good their mentors and faculty are very helpful. I had a good interest in coding and programming, all the faculty are really good and supportive they will assist you with whatever you want to know about campus or lectures, in my class there is a strength of 50 students. the minimum qualification of faculty is M.tech or MBA. the exams are really easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I was placed in three different companies 2 of them a service-based company and one of them is an event management company third one is a real estate company they all ready to pay stipends to me, I worked on different projects like billing systems, and personal Alexa.

Placement Experience

4

the placement is really good for college companies like TCS, and Wipro they will come to the college to provide jobs and internships. students are usually eligible for 5 or 6 sems of the course. wipro, TCS, venue monk. the avg package is around 2 to 6 lpa. almost 50 percent of students got placed. after my degree I see myself growing with your company and learning new things every day.

Fees and Financial Aid

they initially let you know the entire fee structure of the course and will charge you the same fee till the last semester of your college, they don't have any hike policy for old students who are already enrolled in the program. I got selected by 4 companies for 6 months of internship program they all are paid.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on the college campus is so far so good since I was doing my diploma there, the campus was so clean and really good environment. they have various kinds of annual fests and tech fests like one of the biggest fests Udaan, Basant fest, sports meet, GPL everything is available in the classroom we have AC, Projectors, Whiteboards, blackboards, Notice boards there is a lot of sports and other activity going on every week, there one assigned day in the week when we can perform different activity everyone was.

Admission

I can share my personal experience with you, I just visited the admission cell and took the admission over there, they did not take any entrance exams or cut off, we can find the application form from the admission cell itself and submit that form to the reception they assign you POC.

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
