My opinion on IIT PATAN

At present the course curriculum is good compared to other IITs, it's a student-friendly one. Coming to the faculty all faculty members are very cool and passionate about delivering quality education. And the exams are at a moderate level you can pass the exam with minimal effort.

We get many internship offers from many multinational companies like Microsoft, google, math labs, Flipkart, oracle, Paytm, and many more. Companies hire on various interests you get offers in machine learning, data science, or on your coding skills.

The campus placements start around August and continue for 2-3 months every single student definitely gets placed with a very good package. Many good companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Paytm, and many more offer placements. The highest placement offer is around 1cr and we get a average of 30 lakhs package. It's 100% placements for circuital branches and 95% for others.

The hostel and gymkhana, Bus fees are around 7850 per semester. The mess fees vary around 20k per semester. Coming to tuition fees if the family income is below 1lakh or if you are a sc/st candidate, it's free. If your income is around 1 lakh- 5 lakh, you need to pay 33000 per semester. Above 5 lakh you need to pay 1lakh per semester.

Life here at IIT Patna is very chill. There are many fests that happen on the campus. The main one is our cultural fest named Anwesha its 3 days long fest and it's arguably one of the best fest I have witnessed. And many other fest Infinito(sports fest). Celesta(Tech Fest) and we have a TEDx event also. Coming to the library a new one is under construction which is gonna be a major highlight on the campus and you can find any book in the library. The classrooms are well digitalized. Coming to clubs there are many clubs you can explore and enjoy.

The hostels here are well maintained with good hygiene as far as I concern there are no major problems I faced in a hostel and the mess quality and menu are a bit ok the fee for a hostel is very much affordable.
