Might be its my fortune to be a part of this college.

There are many remarks about the college. Bus facilities should be improved.Bus routes should be there to all places of Vijayawada . Extra curricular activities must Be improved. A separate block for placement should be allotted. Sports facilities must be improved. NCC, NSS and other social activities also must be improved to a large extent. This college is good and i joined here as my brother suggested. I felt satisfied to be a part of this college but a lot changes has to be made in the college. If they will make those improvements then it will be one of the most top most college in Andhra Pradesh.

The entrance exam that i have written for entering into the the college is Vignan institute's private entrance exam. It has some basic qualifying mark just for formality purpose but they will take almost all the students. There is no interview process. For formality they conducted a counselling process in which we submitted our documents.

The course curriculum is good and the course i chose is Mechanical engineering. I chose this course as many of my friends have joined in this and my brother also studied in the same college. They focus less on Practical learning. There are no research initiatives being taken by our college but they publicize about the college well.

The college does not provide any internship but at one hour distance to our place we have many companies. If we apply for them and if we are eligible then they will surely provide. I did not do any internship but some of my seniors have done it and got very less stipend amount. It is of five thousand rupees.

The placement opportunities are just average. When compared to the other colleges, the placement scenario in our college is relatively low. That too i am from a mechanical stream we have very less placements compared to others. If we have to get placed also we need to learn software. All major companies that visit our college is software companies and the package is two lakhs per year.

The fee structure of the college is affordable but it is a bit high and currently i am taking education loan to complete my engineering and i couldn't pay the amount if i wont get a job. The fees i am paying currently is one lakh fifty thousand. If you are a merit student or a good scorer in JEE Mains then you will get merit scholarship.

The faculty of our college are experienced but not too qualified. They are interactive but not to that extent. They are very interactive but very strict. If there is an advantage, to balance that similarly a disadvantage is there. The standard of teaching is good but a lot of changes has to be made in the teaching strategy.
