Big campus with greenery and trees around.
Well equipped laboratories and well functioning Library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Engineering is now the hot cake in the market. Anyone with a computer science and engineering degree can easily find a job in the software domain. The student-to-faculty ratio was 1:55 such that every student was given enough individual attention. The quality of the faculty was really good. Assessments were conducted on time and exams were scheduled as per the university.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure was pretty worthy when compared to other colleges which also included the CET government fees. Government scholarship was provided based on merit and performance in academics. There were no placements in this college and hence I didn't get any job.

Campus Life

The campus was good. We had sports days, ethnic days, and other cultural activities. The library had almost all the required books as per the course. The classrooms were very spacious and well-ventilated. Along with classrooms, labs too were very well equipped.

Admission

I was admitted to the college based on my CET ranking. This college was allotted to me during the allotment process. The eligibility for computer science course was CET ranking below 25K. The application was given in the college itself. Once the form was filled out and submitted, we paid the fees and completed the admission process.

Experiencing a Real Life

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Dell, TCS, Capgemini, iGate, IBM, M/S legato company, Etc up to 40 companies. The highest package is 4.5 LPA, whereas the average package is 1.5 LPA. 50%-60% of students getting placements. I'm planning to do Masters.

Remarks:

Positives include Easy transportation, feasibility and Eco friendly. We can see a lot of trees and it motivates the students to plant more and more greens. Canteen is a chitchat destination for most of the students where we spend hours together.

In my view the college is good with excellent teaching facility and well maintained infrastructure. Lectures will teach the student in improving their talent as well as knowledge. Regular industrial visit and practical classes will be held to improve the practical knowledge of the students.

There is no special eligibility required for admission to this college you just need to provide the amount they ask for and you get directly admitted into the course. In fact, the fee structure for KCET students is higher than the management which is really unfair. There is a lot of improvement required in the admission process.
