Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because there is good scope and this was my field of interest. We get help from our faculties during exams and they teach us well. We have yearly exams, theory and practical. It is easy.

We get to work in Every branch of dentistry during the course of the internship. We are guided by teachers and faculty during procedures regularly. We get good patient exposure during the course of the internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 24300/- According to the general category. I belong to the general category so I don't get any scholarship but there is a scholarship available for OBC and ST/SC categories. They get a 1 lakh rupees scholarship.

Campus Life

Annual fest is held every year and sports events are conducted on a regular basis throughout the year. There are many books available in the library we can issue and read for our convenience. Dental camps and awareness programs are regularly conducted.

Admission

We have to give the entrance exam, NEET. We have to clear it according to the expected cut-off and fill out the counseling form available. Then the college is allotted. We got help from the faculty during the process.

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.

I chose this course because I want to be a good dental surgeon. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. The qualification of the faculty is that all the faculties are well educated and well qualified and also have good hand work and skills. The term exam is yearly.

At BDS there is a yearly system of exams, but before that you have to go through internal exams [2 internal exams and 1 pre-university exam] and attendance is mandatory. One must attend all the classes to appear for an examination. Attendance must be above 75%.
