Life of an IIT ian.

Any local citizen can enter in our college campus. This lead to noise pollution. This is the only bad remark our college has.

I gave JEE advance exam after JEE mains in which I got 195 marks and 2835 all india rank. I was interested only in mechanical engineering thats why at this rank i got this particular college.

For research purpose our course is well maintained. Here our professor give proper response to all problems related to any workshop or projects we have assigned.Here course structure also give some credit to exploratory projects so that students take this project seriously.

Yes our college provide internship to student. As now i am in 2nd year so i dont have idea of companies come here. But we have some professors like MZ Khan who is expert in welding process give student time to time his precious knowledge about welding and other projects.

As students prefer IIT only because of placement purpose and our college is 7th topmost engineering college of india .So almost all students are placed from our college.Package differs with branch for eg average package for cs branch is 18 lakh whereas for mechanical branch is 8 lakh.Topmost package from our college is 2.03 crore by oracle which is highest package from any IIT, isnt it amazing.

Along with academic activities we have also various cultural activities like Kashiyatra(cultural), Spardha(sports), Technex(technical),Comet etc. in which various IITians and non IItians take participation. These festivals are sponsored by many companies like OYO rooms, OLA cabs etc. Each festival have special guest for eg last time sushil kumar came in spardha.

We have different fee structure for different categories for eg General and obc categories students have 50,950 rupees per semester whereas sc and st categories students have 5,675 rupees per semester.This fees structure is feasible for sc and st students but for some general and obc students it is expensive.

Our college also has one SBI bank which give loans at appropriate rate to needy students. For many poor students we have scholarship like student welfare scholarship and MCM . Even i have availed student Welfare Scholarship in which I got 25000 rupees.

Campus is eco friendly with greenary all around.We also have various clubs like aero modelling club, robotics club,Indian Music Club, Films and media club etc which organise workshops time to time. Here gender ratio is very bad. Last time we had we had only 40 girls over more than 1000 boys.

We have various hostel facilities like free wifi and LAN, free electricityetc.Hostels rooms are somewhat not upto their standards and hostel in which i am living is shared between three students. But one thing is sure that all college students will get ho

Our seniors are very supportive. They help in each and every step whether it is related to our study or our cultural purpose. They also organise some educational tours for us. Many of the workshops are organised by them only. Last time I made one rc plane which would be impossible without their help.
