- There's a huge lush green campus with various departments having excellent facilities teaching in extraordinary manner. Apart from studies a student is exposed to various extra curricular activities as well including the annual fest.
- Extracurricular activities like sports and NCC helps in building the overall character of a student

- College should focus more on the placement part.

Course Curriculum Overview
I was highly interested in the subject and therefore wanted to pursue it at a higher level. Faculty: student ratio is quite good as the teachers give individual attention to students. The faculty is highly educated with published articles in various national and international journals. They impart their above-par knowledge to the students with utmost perseverance. Term exams are scheduled semester wise and you've to study religiously for that.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is affordable, There are scholarships for various sections of society such as EWS, and other reservations according to the state. There are job opportunities provided by the teachers. They've also recently introduced a placement cell in the department.
Campus Life
Sanskritiki is the annual fest that happens at the University of Lucknow usually in the month of October - November. It encompasses many cultural events in which students take part. There are more than enough books in the department library itself. Also, Tagore Library holds innumerable books on various subjects. Classrooms have ergonomic furniture as well as the smart classroom. We even have a museum in the department showing anthropological artifacts. There are various other sports and extracurricular activities like Basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, and NCC and NSS.
Admission
For admission into the Master's of anthropology, there was a written entrance test scheduled. Eligibility for this course is a minimum Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science with anthropology as a subject. The application form is given on the official website of the University of Lucknow. There are reservation benefits for women, sports persons, and NCC cadets. The admission process is very smooth. After giving the entrance exam and passing it you're called for counseling sessions by the university.
