I have chosen this course because it is available only in a very less number of colleges. Also, I have heard it has many scopes. Materials are involved in all fields in the world. Hence the scope of this course is very wide. We can work in any area in the world by well versed in this course. Also, another big benefit of this course is very less competition for exams like GATE. GATE is an entrance exam for getting admission to Master in IITs s and also through the GATE exam, we can get jobs in government sectors. So in this course, there is less competition for this exam which led to easily getting admission to IITs or we can get government jobs. There are enough faculties to control the students. Each department has separate labs with lab assistants who help in accessing the labs. The faculties in our department are qualified and good teachers. Most of them are Doctorate completed persons. Exams are conducted for each semester. For each month there will be internal tests also assignments given.

Our department students are allowed to do internships in 7th and 8th semesters. They can go wherever they wish to learn practical skills. They have to do a main project during the 8th-semester internship.

My department is metallurgical engineering. My college provides better placement to the metallurgists. Last year there was 100% placement and placed in good companies with good packages. There is also much chance for out-campus placement.

The fees for our college are very low compared to other Government colleges. I have paid 6500 per year as college fees and the exam fee is 175 per paper. Since our college is an autonomous college. The fee structure is very affordable and financially backward people can surely afford this fee. Scholarships are also provided for all eligible students. The scholarship amount is a minimum of 10000 and I'm not sure about the maximum amount. Though we are not afford the fees and we are very backward means alumni of our college have a strong bond with us. If we have requested them means they will do help able to them. So financially this college is very good for all people. Many companies will come for campus interviews and many of our seniors got placed in reputed companies. In this college, there is no dual placement. I mean a single student can place in only one company but he/she can attend the interview with many companies. So there is no fear of placement in this college. Faculties are very helpful for this.

The campus life was not much enjoyable. Studies are given more importance than other things like this. There will be department functions for each department twice a year. It will be conducted as a fest per semester. Also, other functions which may take place are club functions in which all department students can participate to enhance their skills and interest by expressing their talents in the functions. The classroom will be large enough to occupy the class members. Each classroom will have a projector for visualized learning of the course. The fan is there in the classroom. Also for ventilation, there will be windows in the classroom. Proper sitting desks are also there for sitting. Other than studies sports also give importance to students. Students were allowed daily practice on the ground. Students are sent for matches in other colleges too. For encouraging them our college will conduct a sports day. Extracurriculars like singing and dancing are also given importance. Many other clubs are also there in college.

The hostel was not much good but it is an adjustable level. There will be separate hostels for each year in the boys' hostel. In the girl's hostel, first and second years are in one block, third years in one block, and final years are accommodated in one block. Rooms will have proper electricity connection. Rooms have one fan and two lights. The room has only one plug point. Each student was provided with a cot for staying. The bathroom is common to all students. There will be three bathrooms and three toilets for 8 rooms. Bathrooms are continuously cleaned by the workers. Food will be provided on time. Morning at 6.30 am coffee will be provided. Then the menu has been scheduled and based on the schedule dish will be provided. In the evening there will be tea and coffee both are provided.

I have got admission through TNEA. The only way to get admission to this college is through TNEA. The official website is there for TNEA and we can find all the details like the application form and others on this website. In this exam, there is a priority for sports quota. Also many benefits for first graduates and also for handicaps. Through this exam, we can get admission to many colleges under Anna University if we have the eligible marks. The admission is based on cut-off marks only. There is no way for cheating or bribe. After the lockdown period, the TNEA exam was taking place online which was very beneficial for people far away from Chennai. First, we have to apply for the TNEA exam. There are a lot of YouTube channels that are guiding us in selecting good colleges. Many reviews for many colleges are available on YouTube. By referring to those videos we can get knowledge about that college and the course. We should daily check the updates for the exam. There is no improvement required for this exam.
