I choose this course(Artificial intelligence and data science) because there is a huge scope in this field. Yes, there is a proper faculty: student ratio is 1:5. All teachers are good in their field. In my course, there is a semester-wise exam and is easy to pass.

There are a lot of opportunities available for internships in our college. We get paid as well as a free internship. We also get internships from international companies like Microsoft. We got projects provided by the college.

In our college students from the 6th semester are eligible for campus placement and they are ready to give campus exams. Last year 200+ companies visited our college like TCS, Infosys, Hexaware, etc. The highest package offered on our college campus is 30 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. In our college, 50% of students get placed. After completing this degree I want to get placement in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship as I belong to the OBC caste and the fee of the course is perfect according to the course and facilities provided by the college. I got a scholarship from the government, for which I have filled scholarship form which is provided by the college.

Campus Life

As I am not interested in attending any type of fest conducted by our college, so I didn't attend them. Yes, there is a proper availability of books in the library and the services provided by the library is also good. Yes, there are many options available in sports and there are regular extracurricular activities organised by the college.

Admission

There was no entrance exam required to choose this course. We can get an offline form from the college or we can fill the form from the college website. Yes, there are reservation benefits for all categories(OBC, SC/ST).

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
