Likes

Experienced staffs,completed NET/SET. Friendly staffs.
Neat class rooms proper maintenance,fresh air planning to plant more trees.
Hostel facility, neat and clean canteen.

Dislikes

No importance for extra extra curricular activities less conducting programs.
bathrooms are not sanitized no proper program are conducted.
Qualified staffs are not as experienced staffs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the English language so that I chose this course. 164 faculties are working full-time in both aided and unaided. 3746 students are studying at Sadakathulla Appa College. Faculties want to complete up to Ph.D. or else at least M.Phil. and want clear NET/SET. 2 semester exams are in a year total 6 exams are to complete the course. Not that much difficult to complete the course for me.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tiliconveli, Just Dial, Tu's training and services, Chola MS General Insurance, began research associates private limited, ICICI, Pongu ventures, NIIT, ICL, Wipro, TATA consultancy services, etc. Yearly projects on their courses.

Placement Experience

In 6th semester they are eligible for campus placements. Pharma, logic field solutions, Krishna Maruti group, Dcw, etc. From 10,000 to 4.5Lakhs according to their courses. Almost 75% got placement. Continue studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be applicable charges for aided and unaided. Aided will be 50rs and unaided 100rs. For some exceptional, there are no charges. The cost will vary for their courses. For me 6000 per semester. There are many scholarships given for the students like post-matric scholarships for minorities, and Adi Dharvidar scholarships for SC/ST.

Campus Life

Some inauguration functions. Some entertainment programs are conducted by the college yearly twice. There was a separate building with a size of 12,600sq.ft with 3 floors for the library. Books related to the courses as well as noncourse books are available. National and international journals are available. Also, e-resources are available.

Admission

Want to get a good score in 12th without any black marks? According to their percentage courses are allotted. You can find the application form in the office or else on the college website. On the website, full details are given or you can directly visit the office. Already admission process is clear.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures.
